Brad and Reneé Rutledge

Our Pastors

Brad and Renee Rutledge serve as the Pastors of HOPE Church of Newton in Covington, Georgia. They enjoy spending quality time with each other and their family, which includes their daughter, Hayley, son-in-law, Sean, and four grandchildren: Cameron, Tyler, Charleigh Rose, and Brody. Having lived in Newton County all their lives, they have a passion for collecting antiques, traveling, and watching movies. Brad found his faith at 17 and felt a calling to establish a church. Together, Brad and Renee dreamed of creating a place where everyone could feel a sense of belonging, discover real hope, experience life transformation, and find their true purpose. After initiating the first Celebrate Recovery® in Georgia and devoting years to expanding the program across the state, the nation, and the globe, they felt ready to establish their own church. Together with 21 other families, Brad and Reneé took a leap of faith, and HOPE Church was launched on September 4, 2022.

Our staff and leadership team at HOPE Church of Newton are passionate about serving our community and leading with integrity. With their guidance, we are able to fulfill our mission of spreading the love and teachings of Jesus to all.
