We carry keys to unlock doors and it depends on their shape as to what door they open. Many of us are blank keys. We have the potential to open many doors with our prayer life. Much like a key, we have to be willing to be shaped, filed and polished in order to turn the right tumblers to unlock those doors. In this week’s message we look at the key conditions God gives us to have our prayers answered.
Many of us have misconceptions about prayer. We treat God like a vending machine. Some think prayer is a first aid kit; it’s an act of desperation. Some think prayer is a duty. In this series, we're demolishing some of these misconceptions. Pastor Brad answers the question, “why do we pray?” He takes us through 4 purposes of prayer and end with a powerful time of prayer where we know God is going to send us answers.

In Revelation 2 Jesus gives us 3 things to expect the best in all our relationships, especially our closest ones.
We all need lasting friendships! Last week we focused on loving people that are hard to like. While there are people you just don’t see eye to eye with at times, sometimes the other person isn’t the problem. I am! So what’s the solution? This week Pastor Brad dives into how to be more like Jesus when it comes to building lasting friendships.
We all have people in our life that we have to deal with, whether it’s on the job, in our family or wherever that we just don’t like. And you ask these questions; Can't I just ignore them? Do I really have to love them? Do I have to like them? In this very intriguing message, Pastor Brad answers these questions and explains what God’s word says about learning to love difficult people.
God could have just created us and immediately taken us into heaven. But He put us here on earth for 70, 80, 100 years so we can learn how to love. And if we don’t do that, we miss one of the biggest points of life. The most beautiful picture of Love is at the Cross of Calvary! There we discover who we’re to love and how.
Today’s message is an introduction to the next couple of messages in the weeks ahead. Pastor Brad introduces the secret sauce to our relationships. It’s something we’re commanded and compelled to do as followers of Jesus… Love. It’s a word we throw around like no other. But what is love? What does it mean to love? Let’s look at a few things God’s Word teaches us about love.

And when are you going to get started on it? God's Word gives us the simple steps for getting started on a Fresh Start and Pastor Brad takes us each one.
Where do you want to be this time next year? How are you going to get there, from here? Renee’s visual of taking out the trash is a great analogy, and a big part of the answer.
